Daria Bilodid brought Ukraine its first medal at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, APA reports citing Ukrinform.

Bilodid won the bronze medal in the Olympic women’s judo tournament.

In the women’s under 48 kg competition, Bilodid beat Shira Rishony from Israel.

Distria Krasniqi from Kosovo won the gold medal, Funa Tonaki from Japan won silver.
