“Ukraine has closed its airspace for civil flights for security,” Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladislav Kanevsky said at a briefing, APA reports.

“However, we are in search of alternative routes in order to provide exit of those, who want to leave Ukraine, including Azerbaijanis through these routes,” stressed Diplomat.

Ambassador has noted that guests have arrived from Ukraine to Azerbaijan on the anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide and as the airspace has been closed for civil flights, they have remained in Azerbaijan.
