Baku: Another group of 33 Ukrainian students has arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in a social and psychological rehabilitation program. This initiative, organized by the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, aims to provide essential support to the youth affected by ongoing challenges in Ukraine.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the eight-day rehabilitation program is comprehensive, including various group therapies, meditation and yoga sessions, as well as specialized psycho-social training and masterclasses. These activities are designed to help the students cope with their experiences and foster mental well-being.
In addition to the clinical support offered, the program provides a chance for cultural immersion. Participants are exposed to Azerbaijani art, national history, and major landmarks, as well as traditional cuisine, enhancing their overall experience and understanding of the host country.
Since the inception of this program, approximately 400 children and young people from Ukraine have traveled to Azerbaijan to take advantage of these socio-psychological rehabilitation services, highlighting the ongoing commitment to supporting those in need.
