UN adopted resolution against glorification of nazism

The UN General Assembly has adopted resolutions condemning Nazism, neo-Nazism, and all forms of racism, according to the press service of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, APA reports.

130 countries voted in favor of the resolution “On the fight against the glorification of Nazism, neonasizm and other acts”.

The US and Ukraine voted against the resolution, 49 countries do not attend the voting.

The resolution developed by Russia and more than 30 members of the UN expresses concern for any form of glorification of Nazism, as well as erecting monuments in honor of Waffen-SS and holding mass parades or declaring them national freedom movement.
