Baku:The United Nations (UN) has awarded Azerbaijan a special certificate acknowledging the 'ASAN Khidmet' model for its innovative public service delivery and its contribution to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 16.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the certificate was presented at the 'UN Governance Innovation Summit Advancing Future-Ready Institutions' hosted in Baku.

The summit featured approximately 200 participants, including senior government officials involved in UN-related affairs, high-ranking representatives from international and regional organizations, development partners, as well as members of the private sector and academia.
