Baku:United Nations Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), Miguel Ángel Moratinos, highlighted the importance of collaboration and sustainable development initiatives during a special Joint Session of the 3rd High-Level Meeting of International Organizations and the 6th Ministerial Meeting of the Baku Process on October 27.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Moratinos discussed the use of mechanisms that support sustainable development, allowing local communities to develop and implement their own initiatives. He noted the existence of joint projects with the United Nations Development Programme to further these goals.

Moratinos emphasized the aim to implement these initiatives jointly, foster cooperative relations, and reinforce a shared commitment to a better future, aligning with the objectives of the UNAOC and its partners.
