United States Supports Increased Adoption of AI Technologies in Azerbaijan

Baku: The United States stands ready to expand cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence to upgrade Azerbaijan's digital infrastructure and secure its security, Caleb Orr, US Assistant Secretary of State for Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs, said at a press conference on the First Azerbaijan-U.S. Economic Dialogue.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during the economic dialogue, discussions centered around regional connectivity, trade, transit, trade facilitation, and digital development. Caleb Orr highlighted the talks with high-level representatives and subject matter experts from both the United States and Azerbaijani governments, emphasizing the progress made in regional connectivity, trade, transit, and aviation collaboration.

The US official pointed out the potential of artificial intelligence to drive prosperity and laid out a path for increased adoption of AI technology to enhance and secure Azerbaijan's digital infrastructure. Cooperation in the energy sector was also a focal point, building on the successes observed in Baku and exploring ways to implement the newly signed Critical Minerals Framework Agreement.

Caleb Orr expressed optimism about the projects and plans discussed during the dialogue, anticipating their fruition and the strengthening of the bilateral economic relationship between the United States and Azerbaijan.
