US, Azerbaijan, and Armenia Unite to Advance TRIPP Initiative

Baku:The governments of the United States, Azerbaijan, and Armenia have taken a significant step forward in advancing the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) by launching trilateral technical planning groups.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, this development was highlighted in a joint statement issued by the three nations, citing the U.S. Department of State. The announcement was made on November 6 by U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Brendan Hanrahan, Armenian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Vahan Kostanyan, and Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov.

The initiative aims to establish a multimodal transit route, fostering collaboration among policymakers and technical experts from the three countries. This collaboration is expected to contribute significantly to long-term stability, economic vitality, regional connectivity, and commercial prosperity, reinforcing the commitments made during the Peace Summit Declaration of August 8, 2025, brokered by President Trump.

The joint statement also revealed the inauguration of the first two Trilateral Planning Groups, focusing on transportation and electricity transmission. These groups are tasked with addressing complex technical issues and progressing toward connecting with other regional infrastructures, marking a crucial step in the operationalization of all TRIPP modalities.
