Hooker hosted Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov and Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan, APA reports. The meeting was held to commemorate the anniversary of the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia mediated by U.S. President Donald Trump on August 8, 2025.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Hooker expressed her honor in hosting the deputy foreign ministers from Azerbaijan and Armenia. She highlighted the significance of the meeting as a celebration of the historic peace achieved between the two nations, attributing the mediation to President Trump's efforts.
