US Raises Forecast for Liquid Hydrocarbons Production in Azerbaijan This Year

Baku: The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) under the Department of Energy has updated its forecast for Azerbaijan's average daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons for 2026-2027. The updated figures were reported by APA-Economics, citing the EIA's monthly report.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the EIA's latest estimates indicate that Azerbaijan's daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons is expected to reach 550,000 barrels in 2026, which is an increase from the previous forecast of 540,000 barrels. However, the forecast for 2027 has been revised downward to 520,000 barrels, 20,000 barrels lower than the earlier prediction.

Based on the report, Azerbaijan's daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons was recorded at 570,000 barrels in 2025. In the year 2024, the country's production amounted to 600,000 barrels per day.
