Baku: The U.S. Energy Information Administration has released its forecast for the global daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons for 2026-2027: The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) under the U.S. Department of Energy forecasts that global daily production of liquid hydrocarbons in 2027 is expected to average 108.75 million barrels. This figure marks an increase of 0.9 million barrels compared to the forecast for 2026.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the EIA has also revised its forecast for 2026, predicting that global daily production of liquid hydrocarbons will average 107.85 million barrels. This is an increase of 0.2 million barrels from the previously issued forecast.
In 2025, global daily production of liquid hydrocarbons averaged 106.29 million barrels, showing an increase of 3.12 million barrels compared to 2024, when the average was 103.17 million barrels. In 2023, the global daily production was recorded at 102.02 million barrels.
