The US company Trans-Caspian Resources (TCR) has proposed Turkmenistan to implement the Caspian Connector project- the pipeline to deliver natural gas from Turkmenistan’s offshore fields in the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan’s existing energy infrastructure.
According to the company’s co-manager Allan Mustard, the project, which will maximize the potential of the existing infrastructure, requires less investment than the Trans-Caspian pipeline project.
Allan Mustard said that the Caspian Connector is a fairly simple project that can guarantee Turkmenistan the annual export of 10 to 12 billion cubic meters of natural gas
