UTair’s Moscow-Ganja Flight Diverted Due to Adverse Weather Conditions

Baku: The UTA-743 flight operated by UTair on the Moscow-Ganja route was diverted to an alternate airport, Heydar Aliyev International Airport, due to adverse weather conditions at the destination. The decision to divert was made by the aircraft commander as a result of fog at the original destination.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Boeing 737 aircraft safely landed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport at 11:05 local time. Ensuring the safety of passengers and the flight was the top priority during the diversion process.

A decision on the continuation of the flight will be made by UTair, contingent upon the improvement of weather conditions. Heydar Aliyev International Airport effectively carried out all necessary operational procedures to accommodate the flight and ensure passenger safety.
