Uzbekistan to Launch $1.15 Million Automotive Investment Project in 2025


TASHKENT: Uzbek-Singaporean Technologies of Real Time, a joint venture, is set to implement a significant investment project in Uzbekistan’s automotive industry in 2025, as announced during President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit to the joint venture in the Tashkent region. The project, valued at $1.15 million, aims to produce spare parts for several new automobile brands.

According to Trend News Agency, the investment project will focus on manufacturing components for brands such as BYD, Chery, Changan, Geely, and Dongfeng. The initiative is expected to generate 43 new jobs and increase production capacity from 180,000 to 280,000 units. This aligns with Uzbekistan’s broader automotive production goals, which have seen car production nearly triple in recent years.

The country’s automotive output is projected to reach 460,000 units by the end of this year, with an ambitious target of 1 million units by 2030. This growth underscores Uzbekistan’s commitment to expanding its automotive manufacturing capabilities a
nd enhancing its industrial sector.
