Uzbekistan’s military delegation visits Azerbaijan (PHOTO)


BAKU: Azerbaijan, August 14. Uzbek military personnel have flown over to Azerbaijan to join a course on the ins and outs of using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in contemporary armed conflicts, which falls under the 2024 bilateral cooperation plan between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, Trend reports via the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense.

“The Uzbek visitors were given an overview of the Air Force’s history and operations on the first day of the training. This included information on the unit’s role in traditional warfare, how combat flights are organized, and how the Azerbaijan Army uses small and micro UAVs.

The team was given a tour of the Azerbaijan Army’s arsenal and briefed on the tactical and technical features of each UAV,” the ministry said.
