Tashkent: Uzbekneftegaz Joint-Stock Company has announced plans to boost its daily gas production to 70 million cubic meters.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, which cites the official website of the President of Uzbekistan, this initiative was revealed during a presentation to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev outlining the future tasks and plans of the company.

The presentation highlighted the primary objective of Uzbekneftegaz, which is to enhance both natural gas reserves and production volumes. It was noted that the company is expected to implement measures to increase its daily gas output from the current 66 million cubic meters to 70 million cubic meters. Additionally, the company aims to achieve an annual production target of at least 25.4 billion cubic meters of gas this year.
