Vasif Talybov lost control of “Naxç?vanbank”

The daughter of Vasif Talybov, former chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, has been removed from the management of “Naxçivanbank”.

This is reported on the bank’s website.

The report says that daughter of “Nakhchivan Khan” Baharkhanym Talybova is still a member of the Supervisory Board of the regional bank. Along with hers another Board member, Rifat Makhmudov, lost his post as well.

Asadulla Iskenderov, who has chaired the Supervisory Board so far, was also relieved of his post, but he will remain with the bank as a Board member. Binnat Novruzov has been appointed to the position of chairman. The new chairman has been the CEO of “Rabitabank” for many years.

From now on Rufat Mammadov will also be represented in “Naxçivanbank”s Supervisory Board as a member.

Note that “Naxçivanbank”, with an authorized capital of AZN 94 million, has been operating since 2008. Although the bank’s shareholders are reportedly four individuals, their names have never been disclosed. The lending institution was known as the “Talybovs’ bank
