LERIK: Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, took part in a tree-planting campaign in Monidigah village, Lerik district, as part of the Green World Solidarity Year initiative. The campaign saw the planting of over 500 plane trees.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event was attended by volunteers from the Regional Development Public Union (RIIB). The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability and community involvement in ecological projects. Aliyeva, who is also the founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, has been actively involved in various environmental projects aimed at enhancing green spaces and biodiversity in the region.
