Istanbul: Representatives from the Federation of Trkiye-Azerbaijan Associations (TADEF) held a meeting with Volkan Yilmaz, the newly appointed head of Trkiye's Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) for Istanbul. TADEF Deputy Chairman Parviz Mammadzade and Safar Karakoyunlu, Press Secretary of the federation and head of the Istanbul-Azerbaijan Solidarity and Culture Association (ISTAD), visited the MHP Istanbul headquarters for this purpose.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening the brotherly relations between Trkiye and Azerbaijan and discussing the future of the Turkic world. Volkan Yilmaz expressed his satisfaction with the visit, emphasizing the importance of the Trkiye-Azerbaijan brotherhood, which is encapsulated in the slogan 'One nation, two states'. He reiterated Trkiye's steadfast support for Azerbaijan's just cause and the determination to maintain this brotherhood in the future.
Parviz Mammadzade noted the strength of the friendship between Trkiye and Azerbaijan, rooted in their shared historical and cultural bonds. He highlighted the deeply valued continuous support from Trkiye. Safar Karakoyunlu added that civil society organizations play a crucial role in reinforcing the Trkiye-Azerbaijan brotherhood, expressing confidence that future activities centered around common values will further solidify these ties.
