Baku: In 2025, the total amount of tax and customs exemptions and privileges amounted to 7.7 billion manats, APA reports. This announcement was made by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, Azer Amiraslanov, during a discussion about proposed amendments to the Tax Code.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Amiraslanov highlighted that this figure represents approximately 20% of the projected state budget revenues for 2025. He further emphasized that the state ensures no discrimination based on the form of ownership when determining these exemptions.

The discussion on the Tax Code amendments forms part of broader efforts to streamline economic regulations and policies. The government aims to foster an equitable business environment and stimulate economic growth through these exemptions and privileges.
