TBILISI: The Central Election Commission of Georgia has finalized the vote count for the country’s parliamentary elections, revealing that the Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia party has taken a commanding lead with 53.93% of the votes. The results, which have been gathered from nearly all polling stations, highlight the party’s significant advantage over its competitors.

According to Trend News Agency, the vote count was completed for 3,109 out of 3,111 polling stations, representing 99.936% of the total. The Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia party secured 1,118,796 votes, establishing a clear lead in the parliamentary race.

Trailing behind, the coalition “For Change,” which includes parties such as Gvaramia, Melia, “Girchi – More Freedom,” and “Droa!,” garnered 11.03% of the votes, amounting to 228,821 ballots. The “Unity – National Movement” coalition followed closely with 10.161% or 210,787 votes.

The Strong Georgia coalition, which consists of Lelo, For the People, and Freedom Square, received 8
.814% of the votes, totaling 182,839. Meanwhile, the Gakharia for Georgia Party captured 7.771% with 161,215 votes.

These results underscore the dominance of the Georgian Dream party in the current electoral landscape, as the country awaits the final confirmation of the election outcomes.
