Baku: Last year, the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) recorded high economic growth indicators, stated Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), at the 2nd Cooperation Forum of NGOs of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Gasimli highlighted the rapid development of economic dynamics within the Turkic states. He noted that Azerbaijan, in particular, has set an example in urban planning post-World War II. Urban planning is becoming increasingly relevant, with forecasts suggesting that 70 percent of the global population will reside in urban areas by 2050, presenting new challenges.
Gasimli emphasized the significant responsibility that lies ahead for NGOs and organizations within the Turkic States to address these emerging urban challenges.
