“We should turn our cities into smart cities,” said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at VIII Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, APA reports.

The Turkish president noted that the Turkish Council should lead the digital turning point: “A step taken in Zangilan regarding the smart city, steps taken in Turkmenistan, Hungary and Kyrgyzstan in this field are praiseworthy.”

According to R. Erdogan, he expresses gratitude to brotherly countries which supported Turkey in extinguishing fires: “We propose to establish Civil Protection Mechanism of Turkic states.”
