Absheron: The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received reports through the ‘112’ hotline regarding the discovery of weapons and ammunition in the Gobu and Masazir villages of the Absheron district.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry quickly dispatched the MES’s Special Risk Rescue Service’s mobile group to the location for mine clearance. This action was taken in collaboration with local law enforcement agencies to ensure safety and security before proceeding with the removal process.

The mobile group successfully removed a total of 8 F1 hand grenades, 10 RGD 5 hand grenades, 18 UZRQM detonators, 7 rounds of 7.62×55 mm ammunition, 2 rounds of 9×18 mm ammunition, a Makarov pistol, and a Tokarev pistol. During an additional search of the surrounding area, no other dangerous or suspicious items were found.
