Tire mechanic Sakit Abdullayev, born in 1990, was killed at the cement plant, located on Salyan highway in Garadagh region.

He died from a blow to his tyre when he was inflating it, the press service of the prosecutor general’s office said.

The Garadagh region prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case under Article 162.2 (violation of occupational safety rules that resulted in human death by negligence) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. The case is under investigation.
