The German DAX index also saw a marginal increase of 0.08%, closing at 24,307.80 points. Meanwhile, the French CAC-40 index encountered a decrease of 0.31%, dropping to 7,798.22 points.

In the currency markets, the euro’s exchange rate against the dollar experienced a minor decline of 0.04%, with the exchange rate standing at $1.1689.
