However, the Nasdaq index experienced a decline of 0.39%, closing at 20,892.69 points.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, European stock markets exhibited a different trend. The FTSE 100 index in the United Kingdom increased slightly by 0.12% to 9,023.81 points. Conversely, Germany’s DAX index saw a significant decrease of 1.09%, dropping to 24,041.90 points. The French CAC-40 index also declined, decreasing by 0.69% to 7,744.41 points.

In currency markets, the euro weakened against the dollar, decreasing by 0.16% to a value of $1.1735.
