Zangilan: The city of Zangilan recently played host to an international delegation of world travelers, who are visiting the regions of Garabagh and East Zangezur. The delegation, led by Harry Mitsidis, the British founder of the "NomadMania" club, was briefed on the ongoing infrastructure projects, specifically the Horadiz-Aghband highway and railway.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the travelers had the opportunity to observe the progress being made on the railway line, an integral part of the region's development plans. This delegation, consisting of 79 participants from 37 countries, represents the largest group of international travelers to visit Karabakh and East Zangezur to date. "NomadMania," founded by Mitsidis, categorizes world travelers by dividing the Earth into 1,301 regions. Mitsidis himself currently holds the top rank worldwide, having visited all these regions, and the club chose Azerbaijan to host its first annual meeting.

This visit is particularly significant for promoting the liberated territories within the context of "dark tourism" while highlighting the large-scale restoration efforts ongoing in the area. From 2020 to 2025, major international clubs have organized 15 similar visits, with this trip marking the 16th, underscoring the growing interest and investment in the region's development.
