Baku: Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, announced during the final statement of the ministerial meeting on the New Urban Agenda that the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku successfully gathered more than 40,000 registered participants from 182 countries. This significant event highlighted global cooperation in urban development.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Anar Guliyev emphasized that when including all individuals involved in organizing and supporting the event, the total number of participants exceeded 50,000. He expressed deep appreciation for the visionary leadership of President Ilham Aliyev and acknowledged the efforts of UN-Habitat and its Executive Director in establishing this crucial platform for international discourse on decent housing and sustainable urbanization.
