Mingachevir: The WUF13 Festival recently concluded in Mingachevir, drawing the participation of both residents and visitors. The festival was part of a broader initiative to highlight the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event saw the presence of Ilham Ismayilov, Head of the Mingachevir City Executive Authority, as well as senior officials and key figures from the local community. The festival featured an interactive programme that engaged approximately 6,200 participants through activities such as educational games, presentations, and public discussions. These initiatives focused on topics like sustainable urban development, inclusive urban environments, innovative urban solutions, and visions for future cities.

The festival also included a series of quizzes designed around WUF13 themes, urban development, and Mingachevir's architectural heritage. Participants had the opportunity to win prizes by providing correct answers, further encouraging engagement with the festival's themes.
