Baku: The women's group meeting, held as part of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), focused on women's housing rights, gender equality, and their role in decision-making processes. According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, speakers at the event emphasized the significance of the women's group as an important platform for dialogue and collaboration. They highlighted the session's role in sharing experiences and enhancing cooperation among women from different nations.

Maryam Majidova, a founder of 'Gender Hub Azerbaijan' and member of the Public Council under the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, addressed the gathering. She underscored the importance of women's participation in decision-making processes, noting that achieving gender equality requires joint efforts by both women and men.
