Xi: China stands for peace and dialogue in Ukraine

Chinese President Xi Jinping stated on Tuesday that China advocates for peace and dialogue to resolve Ukraine’s conflict, APA reports citing Teletrader.

At a press conference with his Russian counterpart, the Chinese president emphasized that in relation to the Ukraine crisis, his country is guided “by the principles of the United Nations,” maintaining “an objective stance” to favor a peaceful solution and negotiations. “Our position is based on the truth … and we are firmly on the right side of history,” he added.

Finally, the Chinese president also noted that the two countries will continue to strengthen their relations to enhance the defense of the “principles of the UN Charter” and the “multilateral nature” of international relations in the various organizations to which they belong.
