Baku: Azerbaijani boxer Bilalhabashi Nazarov has claimed his second European title as he triumphed in the European U19 Championships held in Ostrava, the Czech Republic. He secured the gold medal thanks to a victory over Italian Tommaso Orlando in the 50kg final.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Azerbaijan’s other boxers also performed well in the competition. Banuchicek Nasirli, competing in the 48kg category, clinched a silver medal. Meanwhile, Zidan Humbatov in the 55kg category, Subhan Babayev in the 60kg category, and Ilkana Ahmadova in the +80kg category each earned bronze medals, showcasing the strength and depth of Azerbaijan’s young boxing talent.
