“The European Union is moving towards geopolitical competition with China by a partnership with NATO,” said the official representative of Russian MFA Mariya Zakharova while commenting on the joint declaration between the EU and NATO, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

“Globally, the EU is moving to a “new level of partnership” with NATO, giving the North Atlantic Alliance operational superiority in critical infrastructure, space, media protection and even the fight against climate change, moving towards geopolitical competition with China,” stressed Zakharova.
