Zangilan:President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the inauguration of the Zangilan City Education Complex.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the design and construction of a 960-seat secondary school began in the city of Zangilan following a 2022 order by President Aliyev. The project underwent modifications in 2025, transforming it into the Zangilan City Education Complex, a vocational-oriented educational facility.

The education complex boasts various modern facilities, including pre-school preparation rooms, specialized biology and computer science classrooms, and pre-conscription military training rooms. In addition, it houses "STEAM-STARTERS," "STEAM-SCIENCE LAB," and "STEAM CHALLENGE" rooms, robotics zones, laboratories, and workshops for tailoring, plumbing, and electrical assembly. The complex also includes a library, sports and assembly halls, and a canteen.

The grounds of the complex span 1.6 hectares and feature extensive landscaping, an outdoor sports field, and a running track. This development is part of the education policy spearheaded by President Aliyev, aiming to construct new school buildings and renovate existing institutions, particularly in liberated territories as part of the Great Return Program.

Additionally, a 160-seat nursery-kindergarten was inaugurated in Zangilan, constructed under the First State Program on the Great Return to the Liberated Territories. The facility provides comprehensive support for children's education and development, with playrooms, bedrooms, computer rooms, medical rooms, and a sports hall, along with music, dance, and assembly halls. Landscaping in the courtyard facilitates outdoor recreation.
