Zangilan: On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the Victory, the General Prosecutor’s Office organized a conference at the Zangilan Congress Center themed ‘Five Years of Victory: Triumph of Statehood and Law,’ APA’s Karabakh bureau reports. Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev opened the event with an introductory speech, speaking about the deep moral and historical significance of the fifth anniversary of the Victory.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, a video clip dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the Victory was shown during the conference, followed by discussions and a commemorative photo session. In addition, a tree-planting campaign was conducted within the territory of the Zangilan Congress Center as part of the event.

The conference was attended by notable figures including the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Zangilan, Gubadli, and Jabrayil districts, Vahid Hajiyev, the Military Prosecutor of Azerbaijan Bahruz Ahmadov, and Major General Azer Ibrahimov, who is the Head of the Main Department of Internal Security and Investigation of the Ministry of Defense. Members of the Milli Majlis (Parliament), heads of NGOs, members of the Bar Association, and other public representatives also participated in the conference.

Before the event commenced, participants paid their respects by visiting the bust of Heydar Aliyev in the village of Agali and the Alley of Martyrs located in the city of Zangilan.
