12 Mosques Restored in Liberated Territories

Baku: President Ilham Aliyev announced the restoration of 12 mosques in liberated territories during a meeting in Baku with participants of international conferences. He emphasized the swift commencement of restoration work following the end of the Second Garabagh War in 2021, highlighting the Aghdam Mosque as the first site to undergo restoration.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev stated that the restoration and rebuilding of mosques that were either completely or partially destroyed is an ongoing process. The restoration efforts reflect the commitment to preserving cultural heritage in the region.
