In Azerbaijan, over the past 24 hours, 1,763 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered, 2,499 patients have recovered, 20 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on November 20.

To date, 572,085 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, of which 535,674 people have been cured, 7,599 have died, 28,812 are actively sick.

Over the past day, in connection with the detection of new cases of coronavirus infection, 13,271 tests were carried out.

Also, over the past day, 33,072 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 4,482, with the second – 6,842, and 21,748 people were vaccinated with the booster dose.

The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 10,267,178, of which 5,047,093 received the first dose of the vaccine, 4,519,516 received two doses, and 700,569 people received a booster dose.
