Khojavend: The keys to the houses were handed over to the families relocated to the Girmizi Bazar settlement of Khojavend, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports. Today, 20 families, comprising 71 people, were successfully relocated to the Girmizi Bazar settlement.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the families were greeted by representatives of the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts. Officials from the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons and employees from the Reconstruction, Construction, and Management Service of the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts also participated in welcoming the returnees and congratulated them on their homecoming.
The relocation marks the continuation of efforts to resettle those who had been temporarily housed in various parts of the republic, primarily in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings. This recent phase of relocation brings the total number of families relocated to the Girmizi Bazar settlement in two phases to 30 families, totaling 110 people.
