Baku: A delegation led by Speaker of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saqr Ghobash, has arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan for an official visit. The visit began on October 28, and the delegation was warmly received at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, which was adorned with the national flags of both countries. Welcoming the Speaker were Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Ziyafat Asgarov, Head of the Working Group for Azerbaijan-UAE Interparliamentary Relations Javanshir Pashazade, and other officials.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during his stay, Speaker Saqr Ghobash is set to engage in several meetings with Azerbaijani officials. These discussions are expected to focus on exploring prospects for enhancing bilateral relations between the UAE and Azerbaijan, reflecting a commitment to strengthening ties and cooperation in various sectors.
