“Azerbaijan liberated its territories which were under the occupation about 30 years as a result of 44-Day Patriotic War and with this, Azerbaijan fulfilled 4 UN resolutions by itself,” said Azerbaijani Prime Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the press conference on the results of the Summit meeting of presidents of Azerbaijan, Turkiye, and Turkmenistan, APA reports.
The Minister stressed that beside the restoration of historical justice and international law, it also paves the way for new opportunities: “In this sense, number one priority for Azerbaijan is the implementation of restoration, construction work in currently de-occupied territories and provide decent and secure return of around 700 thousand internally displaced people to their homeland”.
Azerbaijan is carrying out large-scale restoration and construction works in those areas, and 1.8 billion US dollars have been allocated from the only state budget of 2023. We consider that the implementation of reconstruction and reconstruction works also opens up good opportunities for the implementation of joint works between our countries”.
The FM noted that the full operation of the Zangazur Corridor will lead to the acquisition of additional opportunities on the Middle Corridor.
