Baku: 248,000 hectares have been cleared of mines in the liberated territories, APA reports. This was reflected in the 'Report on the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2025,' which was discussed at today's session of the Milli Majlis.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, it was noted that in 2025, work on the reconstruction, restoration, and reintegration of the liberated territories into the country's economy continued rapidly, and extensive demining operations were carried out. In 2025 alone, 69,205.7 hectares were cleared, and in total, as of December 30, 2025, 248,997.5 hectares of land in the liberated territories have been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.
