22 Foreign Journalists Receive Long-Term Accreditation in Azerbaijan

Baku: In 2025, 22 media representatives from 10 countries received long-term accreditation to operate as journalists in Azerbaijan, APA reports. This development was highlighted in the 'Report on the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025,' which was discussed at today's session of the Milli Majlis.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, in addition to those granted long-term accreditation, a total of 506 foreign media representatives from 37 countries visited Azerbaijan with short-term accreditation. These journalists were in the country to cover a variety of events, including the demining of liberated territories and the return of former internally displaced persons.

The media representatives also reported on the post-conflict situation in the region, the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process, and explored Azerbaijan's history, culture, cuisine, and tourism potential.
