3,282 Individuals Held Criminally Liable for Drug-Related Offenses, Including 33 Foreign Nationals

Baku: In the first seven months of this year, 3,282 individuals were held criminally liable for drug-related offenses, as reported by the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Trafficking. The offenses primarily involved illicit drug trafficking.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, out of the total individuals held accountable, 3,188 were men and 94 were women. Additionally, the data highlighted that 33 of these individuals were foreign nationals.

The report sheds light on the ongoing efforts of the authorities to combat drug-related crimes and the involvement of foreign nationals in these activities.
