Baku: The names of those who tragically lost their lives and those who were injured in a road accident in the Shamkir district have been revealed. A serious collision occurred on the section of the Baku-Gazakh highway that passes through the district, involving a VAZ-2106 and a KIA passenger car.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the accident claimed the lives of Z. Valiyeva, born in 2018, and H. Hamzayeva, born in 1992. Meanwhile, several other individuals sustained injuries of varying severity. The injured include A. Aslanov, born in 1981, A. Jafarli, born in 1982, Z. Huseynova, born in 1976, S. Huseynov, born in 1976, E. Huseynov, born in 1973, E. Huseynov, born in 1972, G. Aslanov, born in 2021, and 14-year-old Z. Aslanova.

Some of the injured victims are receiving medical care at Shamkir District Central Hospital, while others have been transferred to a hospital in Ganja for further treatment. The accident resulted in the deaths of five individuals, including two children, marking a tragic event on the busy highway.
