3,379 Individuals Evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan Amidst Ongoing Efforts

Baku: A total of 3,379 individuals have been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan between 08:00 on February 28 and 10:00 on April 8.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, among those evacuated, 598 are Azerbaijani citizens.

The evacuees include a significant number of foreign nationals, with 733 Chinese citizens, 373 Russians, 249 Indians, and 198 Bangladeshis among them. Other notable groups are 192 from Tajikistan, 151 from Pakistan, and 136 Iranians. Smaller groups include 84 from Oman, 68 from Indonesia, and 57 from Algeria. European citizens evacuated include 46 Italians, 27 Germans, 26 Spaniards, and 26 Canadians.

Additionally, citizens from other countries such as France, Georgia, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and the United States are included in the evacuation. The list continues with individuals from Switzerland, Poland, Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Hungary, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and several other nations, totaling to a diverse mix of over 60 nationalities.

Furthermore, one individual each from countries such as Tunisia, South Africa, the Maldives, Cuba, the Vatican, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, Belize, and the Dominican Republic was evacuated, underscoring the wide-reaching scope of the evacuation operation.
