Tbilisi: In recent days, 57 foreigners have been identified in Georgia for violating the rules of legal presence and residence in the country, APA's local bureau reports, citing Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs. Those individuals - citizens of Trkiye, India, Thailand, Russia, China, Cuba, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Iran, Uzbekistan, Yemen, Greece, Algeria, Egypt, Turkmenistan, Jordan, Israel, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, and Syria - have been deported from Georgia. In accordance with local legislation, they have been banned from entering Georgia.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry's information reveals that the number of foreign nationals expelled from Georgia in January this year was 232.
