Baku: ABB Bank has announced the launch of its third bond issuance, introducing two new bond issues to the capital market. On May 26, ABB Bank is set to release the 5th and 6th bond issues, each with a volume of AZN 5,000,000, culminating in a total issuance amount of AZN 10,000,000.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the nominal value of these bonds is AZN 100, with the currency also being AZN. The 5th bond issue carries an annual coupon rate of 9%, while the 6th issue offers a rate of 10%. The maturity periods for these bonds are 12 and 24 months, respectively. Both issues are classified as interest-bearing unsecured bonds. Unlike previous issuances, this time, coupon payments will be made monthly rather than quarterly. The bonds will be available through a subscription process that will last for 22 days.
ABB Invest Investment Company CJSC is serving as the underwriter and market maker for this issuance. Through these efforts, ABB Bank aims to sustain its activity in the capital market while providing regular and accessible investment opportunities for investors. The Bank's previous bond issuance in May was successfully completed with the total volume fully placed. Investor interest was notably strong, with demand exceeding supply by nearly three times.
