Baku: The Baku Initiative Group (BTG) has made significant strides in bringing the issue of decolonization to the forefront of discussions within international organizations, Executive Director Abbas Abbasov announced to journalists.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Abbasov highlighted that the United Nations, its specialized agencies, the Non-Aligned Movement, and other international institutions are now consistently addressing decolonization matters.

Abbasov attributed this development to the group's awareness-raising efforts. He emphasized the critical role that media representatives and news agencies have played in this process. Expressing gratitude on behalf of BTG and all entities engaged in the decolonization dialogue, Abbasov acknowledged the media's invaluable contributions to advancing this cause.
