In January-March of 2024, 19,571 cars worth 361 million 23 thousand dollars were imported to Azerbaijan, the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics.

Compared to January-March of 2023, the number of cars imported into the country decreased by 6% or 1,228, and their value increased by 14.6% or 46 million dollars. In the corresponding period of 2023, 20,799 cars worth 314 million 994 thousand dollars were imported to Azerbaijan.

Note that during the reporting period, the number of imported vehicles powered by electric motor only increased by 2 times or 422 cars and reached to 830 cars compared to the corresponding period of last year.
